Ad Revenue Sharing

Article-Idea shows Google Adsense ads across all pages of the site, including article pages. Now we have a system that enables us to share the ad revenue with the authors who have an Adsense account. (If you don't have an Adsense account )

Why are you doing this?

An article directory is nothing without authors and the quality articles they submit. So why not let the authors earn some extra money from their articles?

How does it work?

Your AdSense client ID will be shown 50% of the time your articles are viewed.

How do I set it up?

Login to your user's account and go to "My Account" section. There you will be able to:

- Add your Adsense client ID
- Add your Adsense channel ID (this is optional, but useful if you want to track your earnings)

Is this allowed by Google?

There is no indication in AdSense terms and conditions that this is not allowed. And the are many other sites, including famous forum sites doing this.

Why I don't see my own AdSense client ID on the HTML source of my articles?

If you are logged in, we will not show your AdSense client ID. This way you don't click on your own ads which is against the Adsense TOS.

I'm worried about you having my AdSense Client ID.

The only info we need (your Adsense client and channel IDs) is info that is publicly available if you look at the HTML source of any page that has your AdSense ads.

This ad revenue sharing program is optional, so you can still submit your articles without participating in it.
